Adriel Saporta

Venture Fellow

Adriel is a Fellow at SHAKTI, based in New York. She is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the Courant Institute at NYU working on representation learning and AI for health, and advised by Rajesh Ranganath. She is also a DeepMind Scholar and co-hosted the The AI Health Podcast with Pranav Rajpurkar. Before joining NYU, she worked on research on Apple’s Health AI team and in Andrew Ng’s Stanford Machine Learning Group. In a previous life, Adriel was Anna Wintour’s executive assistant at Vogue, and held engineering and product roles across both big tech (Apple, Amazon) and start-ups (SeatGeek, Common).

Adriel holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Yale University.
